Diakarydian Sangaré

Diakarydian We are in Garalo, small village of Tiémala at 200 km in the south from Bamako.
Tonight, the brotherhoods of the hunters are paying tribute to the descendants of Ségnin, the "Segninchis" and for this the shot of the old shotguns are resonating in the immense country. Diakarydian is one of these descendants.

Tonight, he's the donso n'goni player who will hold during hours the big crowd that came to the manifestation spellbound. He's one of the greatest Malian artists unknown on the international scene.

He travelled around all the Mali with his band to share his music and make a living on his art. In 1999, he met his little brother recently arrived from France: Fla Yoro Sangaré, animator at channel II of Bamako and owner of a small home studio named XX-Bass, Fla Yoro then discovers the immense talent of his brother.

Their common passion for music leads them to play together for work and pleasure. Several nights, they repeat , try new styles, improve new songs. It turns out that Diakaridyan is not only an excellent donso n'goni player but also an perfect Kamalé n'goni player.

After three years of collaboration and a lot of home recordings, here is the first official album of Diakaridyan. Produced by Digital Eben Studio and Out Size , the six songs of this album are among the best available Donso productions.

The music of this album is a source in which jazz came to draw. In the future, Diakarydian and Fla Yoro want to make an other album but this time in an other style with different world influence, the Kamalé stylee more known under the call of Mali style.
